Abstract

This work appeared of a personal necessity of opinion and to understand the importance of the contact of the art with the child from early, relative of what the child grows and develops itself with a sensitive glance for its internal and external world, in such a way that it manages to express, when social cultural is showing his opinions and feelings regarding his historical context, in the conscious and critical form. This personal necessity results from observations, investigations and existences also personal, what they always did and they still make refl ecting the importance of the experimentation, of playing, of making-believe, which feeds a good part of the life of all the human beings, the childhood. The proposal of this work is to show the necessity of the vital function of the play being understood or since Vygotsky (2007) puts, the toy. Nevertheless the meaning of toy, in this case, is not if telling properly to the concrete toy, but, yes, to the play like a playful activity, the “make-believe”.and for the values that the child brings with you when it reaches the school unity.
