THE MEETING OF THE TEACHER WITH REFLECTION, AT SÃO PAULO E.M.E.I.

Abstract

The purpose of this job based on the theories of Schön (2000) and Zeichner (2000, apud Gohn 2000), was to verify: (1) the reflexive teacher, analyzing how the teacher reflects on his or her action; (2) how he collaboration of the pedagogical coordinator occurs in this process; and (3) the utilization of the theories of MODEL II of action. To accomplish these results, a research was made and I took part as a pedagogical coordinator of the E.M.E.I. and as researcher with the collaboration of two other teachers. Thogether, we reflected and analyzed some of the classes given. Concluding that the team reflection is favourable to a professional growth to all involved, not only the direct participants of the research but also all the other teachers in the school.
