PRELIMINARY ANALYSIS OF MONOGRAPHS: DISTANCE EDUCATION IN THE MILITARY POLICE OF THE STATE OF SÃO PAULO

Abstract

This work is related to research distance education in the State Military Police of São Paulo (PMESP), which seeks to show the feasibility of implementing the activities of public security according to the described in the monographs prepared for the completion of the Course of Improvement of Official (CAO) conducted at the Center for Further and Higher Studies. To systematize the information researched monographs were published between the years 2005 to 2009 (total of 379 papers). The nature of basic research is exploratory in order, but from the summaries of the papers surveyed by literature and exploratory procedure was performed the analysis of content, and this kind of quantitative and qualitative later, in the preparation of this article. At the end it is about the existence and development of research on distance education in the PMESP therefore its implementation is feasible in the activities of public safety.
