Abstract

This work is aimed at providing a description of the personality of a sample group of drug users, based on Wartegg’s data. The drug problem is growing progressively and studies to understand such a phenomenon prove relevant and emergent. Twenty-six collaborators took part in the survey, with thirteen users and thirteen non-users that submitted to a projective personality test (Wartegg). The data with the highest incidence revealed difficulties in personal adjustment and in the affective articulation of the users; moreover, this data revealed aspects relating to the difficulty in articulating anxiety and lack of energy for action. Other studies are relevant for a better understanding of this phenomenon.
